A new port facility namely Wetar Barge Jetty (WBJ) has been installed at the Wetar copper mine. The port will be operated to load barges for export the spent ore and pyrite ore to a processing plant at Morowali, Central Sulawesi. BMS was engaged by PT Batutua Tembaga Raya (BTR) for the complete Electrical, Instrument and Control System design, supply, installation and commissioning of a barge loadout conveyor system. The facility consisting of dump hoppers, vibrating feeders, conveyor and telescopic chute is used for loading Pyrite Ore onto barges.    

SCOPE

• Detailed design electrical, instrumentation and control system engineering deliverables.
• Detailed design, supply and development of the processing plant PLC & SCADA using Allen Bradley ControlLogix Hardware and Rockwell Automation Factory Talk package.
• Procurement of electrical, instrumentation and control system equipment and delivery to site. 
• Installation of clients supplied equipment.
• Installation of complete electrical low voltage systems including switch rooms, electrical equipment and electrical reticulation. 
•  Installation of instrumentation, communication and control systems equipment.
• Pre-commissioning, dry commissioning and wet commissioning assistance.
•  As-Built drawings and documentation.
